John has spent over 25 years of his working life creating new ways of teaching and learning, to satisfy the ever-changing needs of people in all sectors of society His training programmes are highly practical, based on his leadership and management experience with large corporations in North America, Europe and the UK.
John is one of the pioneers of e-learning, having started his own company in 1981 to produce computer-based learning and interactive video training programmes for client in the financial, energy and retail sectors. More recently, John has taken up the new challenge of helping current and future leaders to survive and thrive in a world of accelerating change, increasing uncertainty and growing complexity.
A large part of Michael’s life has been spent as a soldier/surveyor on active service in Europe, North and South America, Australia and the Middle East. Having retired from full-time Army service, Michael has continued to extend and apply his leadership experience as a senior officer in charge of a Territorial Army Reserve unit, responsible for training and leadership development of over 100 personnel.
At the same time, he has successfully adapted his military experience to the corporate world, in which he is rated highly for his skills as a coach and a learning facilitator. Working as a Leadership Coach, Michael advises and supports leaders and managers who are under pressure to deal with constant change and an uncertain future.
Sue has many years of experience in helping people to improve their communication skills. For 20 years she was a partner in a major Management Development Consultancy, working mainly with clients in the financial sector (BNP Paribas, UBS, and Sun Alliance), but also in other sectors (for example BT and British Gas). During this period, Sue also set up an interactive theatre group to deal with organisational and management development issues.
She specialises in all areas of verbal and non-verbal communication, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis. In addition to her training commitments, Sue is Vice Chair of the Disabilities Trust and Chair of Governors of a school for autistic children.
