Introduction to Level 1 of the L&M Pipeline

If we accept that almost every employee has the potential to act as a leader in a given situation, then the leadership development pipeline should begin with the induction of any new member of staff.

This starting point, level 1 of the pipeline, includes learning about the employer organisation, learning how to do the job, and acquiring the basic skills needed to demonstrate the potential ability to progress to the next level.
